Easy to make Turkey Breast satay

Turkey Breast satay
Servings
Ingredients
  • 2 pound turkey breast, skin removed and trimmed and sliced diagonally into 1/4 inch strips
Marinade
  • 1/4 cup soya sauce
  • 1/4 cup Vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup packed dark brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro (not essential)
  • 3 tbsp ketchup
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tsp hot sauce
  • 4 scallions sliced thin (not essential—but adds a nice flavour)
  • 30 6 inch wood skewers — soak in water for 1/2 hour before

Instructions
  1. Mix together marinade
  2. Thread chicken on skewers.
  3. Pour marinade over skewers. Let marinate at least one hour
  4. Broil until fully cooked. About 4 minutes on each side. Flip skewer half way through the cooking.
